HOW LONG BEFORE THIS TREE   CAN PRODUCE FUIT ?
Trees propagated from seedlings produce fruit in 2 to 3 years
HOW TO PLANT THIS TREE ON THE GROUND

Follow the simple instructions below to plant your tree on the ground...

Choose a sunny area for planting with about 15 feet radius of clear space

Dig a hole on the ground... twice the height of the container, if possible

Do not mix any potting soil, manure, fertilizer or anything with the soil when you plant

Take the tree out of the growbag by laying in the side and slipping the growbag off, if may be necessary to push and tap the bottom of the growbag

It is usually necessary to put some of the removed dirt back into the hole

Bury the root ball so the soil level is the same as it was in the growbagLeave a mound around the tree for form a basin, fill with water, washing the soil into any empty pockets around the root ball

Now is the time to fertilize. Be extra careful because trees are very susceptible to burning with excessive fertilizing

RECOMMENDED FERTILIZER
Organic fertilizer
SUNLIGHT:More than 6 hours of direct bright sunlight in a day

Watering:

Before water poke your finger into the soil to check the moisture.

Water when topsoil (1-2 inches) feels dry to touch.

Water thoroughly in the summer and reduce watering in the winter and rainy seasons.

Soil:

The soil should be well-drained and fertile, and rich in organic content for growing plants.

Grow well in the pH range of 6.5 to 8

Fertilizer:

During the main growing season (Sep-Nov) feed the plant in the organic fertilizer.

Fertilize your growing jackfruit tree with nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and magnesium applied in a ratio of 8:4:2:1 to 30 grams per tree at six months of age

Fertilisers to use

Mix two cups of cow manure and goat manure, 1 kilogram of groundnut cake powder and neem cake powder, 50 grams of pseudomonas, and upper soil and fill the hole with this mix.

After filling the hole, take another small hole to plant the jackfruit bud. Make sure the budded part should come above the soil level while planting.

Water the plant twice a day at least for 6 months and after that water once in 3 months.
